Case sensitive unix conflict when transferring betwixt two servers....
« on: March 25, 2010, 07:46:49 PM »

Unfortunately Magento uses case sensitive folders to organize products photos, so /P and /p exist together. When I make a back-up of the site, server-to-server with yummy, it only copies one folder, not both. So I'm missing images!

For the relevant bookmark, go to Edit, then Advanced Options. Select "Case sensitive".

Yes, there is a Case Sensitive switch in the Advanced tab of the Bookmarks for this.

However, if your Mac's file system isn't set to be case sensitive then you won't be able to transfer because your Mac is used as an intermediary, and by default, Mac OS X is case IN-sensitive.

Also, if the receiving server is case insensitive, you'll have the same issue.
