Command + D on save dialog
« on: July 21, 2011, 08:55:04 AM »
Hi Folks,

since the last updates i noticed that the "command + d" shortcut does not work anymore in save dialogs for bookmarks.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Edit: I forgot to say that "command + a" (abort) and "command + s" (save) is working like expected.

regards
pavel

Those panels are entirely Apple code and as such any change in behaviour would need to be reported to them as a bug.

Is this change since upgrading to Lion?

Hi!

No, this "bug" exists since version 1.8.3. Im still running snow leopard.

I downloaded version 1.8.2. In this version the dialog shortcuts are working like expected.

Hmm, interesting! Maybe Yummy is intercepting those key sequences by mistake. I'll check it out when I'm back from vacation.

Thanks for the report!

I just tested this with 1.8.5 on Lion and Cmd-D takes you to Desktop as expected.

Note that it only works when the sidebar area of the panel is 'focused'. If you select (for example) Documents in the sidebar, then Cmd-D it selects Desktop. If the file browser area of the panel is 'focused' (for example if you select an item) then Cmd-D does nothing.
