large folder cannot be opened

I just noticed a problem with trying to open a large folder on my server (it has about 100,000 image files inside). I never used to have a problem with YummyFTP, and we used CuteFTP on a PC to open the folder with no problem. I updated to 1.8.5, and it is possible that this is the first time I tried to open that folder since the update. I can open smaller folders just fine, including the root folder which has about 30,000 files in it. But this one image folder just keeps claiming it is fetching the list, for a couple hours with no results.

I urgently need a solution. Do I need to revert to the previous version? I'm using Snow Leopard, and have no reason to switch to Lion soon.

There are no changes in v1.8.5 that should have any effect on this.

Try reverting to an older version from the archive - the archive link is on the Download page of the website.

If this makes no difference, please select Save FTP Transcript from the File menu and mail me the resulting file so that I can see what is going on.

This turned out to be such a huge directory listing on a slow connection that the server dropped the connection before the listing could complete, so Yummy ended up going around in circles trying to re-connect and resume.
