Cant change file permissions to 0444
« on: September 10, 2011, 01:39:18 PM »
I've tried changing file permissions to 0444 using Yummy FTP but it doesn't seem to work. (This is required for OSCommerce installation.) So I have to use the host's cPanel File Manager to set it to 0444. When I want to change it back to, say, 0644, Yummy FTP seems to work just fine.

Interesting. Can you repeat this, then select Save FTP Transcript from the File menu and send the resulting file to me : support at yummysoftware dot com

Thanks

For anyone else reading, the transcript showed that Yummy was indeed sending the correct command, yet the server was not applying the specified permissions for some reason.
