Command-up leaves the sub-folder highlighted
« on: December 07, 2011, 01:54:42 AM »
I'm using 1.8.7 and the command-up keyboard shortcut now leaves the sub-folder (the one you've just exited) as the active folder.  For example, in DualBrowse if I've transferred some files from /www/images/ then command-up back to /www/ to transfer some files there, they would end up in the /www/images/ folder.

I'm pretty sure this didn't happen in the previous version I was using, the parent folder would be the active folder.

Is there any way to change this behaviour?

This behaviour is the same as the Finder, and it was requested by users that Yummy behaves the same.

It's been in Yummy for a few versions now, so it isn't a 1.8.7 change.

There isn't a way to turn it off.

Is it causing you a problem?

I had quite an old version on my previous mac, so it's new for me! Consider this (using DualBrowse):

If I have 2 files to update on a site, one in /www/images/ and one in /www/, I cmd-down to /www/images/ and transfer the first file, then cmd-up back to /www/ and in my old version I could then transfer the second file without having to do anything in the remote window.

Now, after I cmd-up back to /www/ I have to first go to the remote window and move the highlight *off* the sub folder, THEN go back to the local window and transfer the file

an extra step that I find moderately annoying!  (And before you suggest I could transfer the /www/ file before the /www/images/ file, well yes i could, but it just doesn't always happen that way!)
