creeping slow upload speeds

anyone know what to do if my upload speeds are...like...4kb/s? Everything else about my connection seems to run fine in other apps, etc, but when I'm trying to upload a folder (in this case a 100mb folder) to my website, it's super slow. The estimation is for 7 hours. can't be right.

Anyone?

Does the folder have lots of little files in it? This can make the upload slow down because Yummy has to negotiate and open a new connection to the server for each one, so the average throughput drops right down low.

Take a look in the Transcript (View menu -> Show Transcript). Do you see the opening of new connections per file?
