Auto-select newly created folder

When I click on the "new folder" toolbar button and create a new folder, it's not automatically highlighted in the list. This results in a bit of scrolling on occasion. Nothing major, just a minor inconvenience.  Instead of that pop-up new folder creation sheet, could it work more like Finder, creating an untitled folder, with the text selected and editable, ready to be renamed?
