AutoRoute: I Don't Get It
« on: August 10, 2007, 01:22:20 AM »
I followed these instructions very carefully.

Then I navigated to a file that was about 3 folders deep on the local side, selected it, and clicked the upload button.  Instead of placing it in the same directory on the remote server, it uploaded it to the remote site's "home" folder.

Am I doing something wrong, or misunderstanding the feature?

What you're expecting to happen is a feature which is on my To Do list for a future version.

The AutoRoute feature currently works outside of Yummy's browser window - that is, drag the file from the Finder to Yummy's dock icon and Yummy will 'auto-route' the file to the correct server and destination directory.

Gotcha.  Thanks for the quick reply, and thanks for having it on your to-do list. It's a feature I really miss from my Windows days of using CuteFTP and BulletProof FTP.

I love your software, BTW.  I had a nightmare with, what seems to be, your leading competitor, that crippled one of my most important sites. I'm spreading the good word as best I can.

Thanks again.
