nearly always stalls on first connection

I regularly upload photo web pages, when first connection is  made uploading stalls within a few seconds,  I have to trash  uploaded  folder then start  upload again  for the rest of folder to transfer.  Sometimes have to do this two times before I can reliably leave the system to transfer files. after this initial glitch everything transfers well. I would love it if I could connect first time and transfer first time reliably, I do not know if this is a problem with my server provider or if there is something in preferences that I can do to avoid this ...... help... thanks . adrian

One main feature of Yummy FTP is it's ability to recover from broken or unreliable connections like yours automatically - without any intervention. You should leave Yummy to do it's job

You might find that the default settings for this feature could be tweaked by reducing the 'Reconnect after' slider in the Error Recovery panel of the Preferences to its lowest setting ... 30 seconds.
