Hi....Apologies ...new to this

I am making changes to our website and although the changes / updates appear instantly in yummy window they take ages before they become live in my browser.
Is this a problem with my server?

Many Thanks

Andrew

As I already responded in the email you sent to Support, this is probably due to caching of the old site in your web browser, or at your ISP.

For Safari, select Empty Cache and try again. If the caching is at your ISP then all you can do is ask them to disable it, or wait for the changes to show up.

I thought pressing option and hitting the refresh button on most browsers forced it to retrieve files from the server and bypass it's cache??

I think it still does, or some variant, but the Empty Cache menu item is much more explicit and easier to explain than some hidden option.
