Hi,
I need to upload a file to a directory that contains ~ 170,000 files. YummyFTP is able to retrieve the directory listing the first time I open the directory, however when I go to upload, it chokes trying to retrieve it again...I get an error message telling me that the upload failed.
Is there a way to prevent YummyFTP from retrieving the directory listing, or forcing it to process a larger number of files when doing uploads, like with some command-line argument perhaps? I tried unchecking the 'check for duplicates' thing but that didn't do anything.
Thanks

Please send me the transcript when the attempted upload fails. Select 'Save FTP Transcript' from the File menu and send it to : support at yummysoftware dot com
Yummy re-fetches the directory hierarchy in order to check whether it will potentially overwrite existing file(s) and warn you. If you tell Yummy to replace existing files without warning then it won't re-fetch the directory hierarchy, so try selecting from the Transfer menu -> Mode -> Always Replace Files
In the meantime, I will look at the transcript - it must have an explanation for the failure.
You could also try the latest beta build to see if there is any difference:
