Editing FTP Aliases?
« on: December 31, 2009, 10:28:07 AM »
My ISP made some changes, forcing their idea of a secure password. That well and fine and I can easily update my bookmarks. BUT, are not FTP Aliases supposed to be editable?

By that I mean "standard" ones, or are Secure ones also editable?

For the life of me I can NOT figure out how to do this... I even looked at the FAQ and documentation... what am I missing?

Secure FTP Aliases cannot be edited. Standard ones can.

To edit:

1 Select Show All Bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu
2 Click the Edit toolbar icon
3 From the resulting file picker, navigate to and select your FTP Alias

I looked in the FTP Aliases section of the documentation wiki and found the mention of this capability:

Thanks! And all the best to you and yours too :)
