help with automator and yummy
« on: December 16, 2012, 03:37:35 PM »
Hi All

I love yummy, and use the scheduler to backup my websites with sftp. I would like to do this:

1.  Yummy starts at login
2.  Connects to server
3.  Send a raw command
4.  Wait 5min
5.  Sync to Mac
6.  Send Raw command
7. Close connection.

I imagine this is quite doable with Automator in OSX

But how, I have never used Automator or apple script.

Some help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Code: [Select]
tell application "Yummy FTP"
connect "enter Bookmark name here"
using connection "enter Bookmark name here" send ftp command "enter command here"
delay 300
using connection "enter Bookmark name here" synchronize "Update Mac"
using connection "enter Bookmark name here" send ftp command "enter command here"
disconnect "enter Bookmark name here"
end tell

This AppleScript should get you going. Pretty simple really :)
