Custom Remote Commands
« on: August 28, 2015, 02:59:33 PM »
Greetings,
Thanks for your great work! The software is wonderful.

I would _love_ to be able to set custom remote commands to be able to perform _with_ the selected file _via_ the context menu.

Example: rmate /path/to/selectedremotefile
perhaps in the creation process a note or decision about how/if multiple selected files can be handled...

So I would right click and then choose this from the remote commands.

Even better would be to be able to set the default action on double click to be that custom remote command!

This is much different than "remote raw command" as I don't want to have to get the full URL and navigate into a submenu to issue the command (in that case I might as well use SSH directly)

Thanks for your consideration!

I poked around in the internal .plist files and found the place where the context menu commands are set... but it seems to link to an internal command/function of some sort.

So I guess I can't really hack this one on my own, can I?

Dev team? Is it a big challenge to code it?

cheers!

My apologies - I did reply to your original post but somehow it seems to have disappeared  :-\

I am the Dev Team - I'll look into such an option
