Sorting bookmarks by name puts longer names first
« on: May 26, 2016, 05:21:26 PM »
My first use of Yummy FTP Pro was to import dozens of bookmarks from CyberDuck.  The import was successful, and every site I've opened has worked perfectly.

However, I'm surprised by the unconventional sort order when bookmarks are sorted by name.  For example,
  • Clientname (old hosting service)
  • Clientname
  • Firstname Lastname
  • Firstname

Interesting - Yummy uses OS X APIs to perform the sorting, so I'll have to check into that and get back to you.

I can't explain it fully yet, but after a little testing I can report that Finder sorts shorter names first, however in all FTP apps I tried the longer name is sorted first - just the same as Yummy. So I'm treating this as a non-issue for now, unless it causes you a problem?
