transferring bookmarks
« on: March 07, 2017, 08:34:08 PM »
I am moving my Yummy FTP from a Machine running Mountain Lion to one running Sierra. I am following these instructions: http://www.yummysoftware.com/support/faq/#15

However, there is nothing in the Bookmarks folder on my source machine, even though I have a bunch of bookmarks. Also...

I have copied the plist over.

When I went to copy the login.keychain, I noticed that the destination folder has a login.keychain-db file, not a login.keychain file.

I transferred them to a RAID drive to move them between machines, but made sure everything was zipped - just to be safe.

I'm completely stumped.

Did you check the old location noted?

Mac HD -> Users -> yourname -> Library -> Preferences -> Yummy FTP -> Bookmarks

Or maybe you already use Bookmark Sync with eg Dropbox?

DOH! Even though I had read that FAQ section more than once, I *still* mixed up one of the folder locations. Long day here - user error on my part.

OMG I couldn't find that option for like an hour before I decided to surrender and google that. Haha, and I thought that I'm computer proficient... Thanks!
