Constant crashes on Mojave
« on: November 11, 2018, 08:31:46 PM »
Hello!

I'm experiencing some issues since i've updated to Mojave. The FTP crashes randomly, sometimes after hours, sometimes after 10 minutes. It's a known bug?

I believe the developer died unfortunately and it's not clear at present what will happen in terms of support or updates.

I'm sorry to bring this issue up again, but it's becoming impossible to use the FTP with all this crashes. Do we have any information on how and if the developers will take care of this product?

I cannot answer for others or give you an official response. From what I can tell it appears to be abandoned, though still on sale.

The older version 1.11.14 is working OK for me on High Sierra. I have Forklift now as an alternative.

Iíve recently upgraded to Mojave and so far, Yummy FTP didnít crash on my system.
However, it feels bad to rely on an application that obviosly isnít supported anymore.

So Iíve checked a few other FTP apps and Ö
DAMN, as far as I can tell, none of them offers features that I use quite a lot with Yummy, e.g. doing a diff with an application of your choice (even in the sync preview), or easily(!) excluding certain items from a sync.
Or removing transferred files from the source after the sync. (Well, some clients offer some of these feature, but from what I can tell, none of them offers them allÖ)

*sigh*
