I have recently bought the yummy FTP lite and it works well. I have one question regarding the software, when the computer goes in a standby mode, the Yummy FTP lite stops the download, which makes a download going for ages because every time I have to come back to the computer to resume the download. please help!

Your computer and Yummy FTP are simply behaving as you have it configured. When your computer is configured to sleep then all apps are automatically paused by the OS.

If Yummy didn't pause when the computer was sleeping it would be a bug.

The point is : if you have a download that's going to take a long time then you need to set your computer not to sleep.

Take a look at Enery Saver settings in System Preferences.

Actually...

Upon further investigation there is actually a change in behaviour (I'd call it a bug) with Mountain Lion which sleeps the computer even when apps are actively doing something. I've implemented a fix and this will be in the next update
