So here's my use case:
I have an FTP site that temporarily stores pdf files for me (Transfer).
I want to automatically move those files to a different FTP site at least once each day (Pro).
At the end of the process all policies from Transfer should be in Pro and Transfer should be empty.
My thought was that Yummy FTP Watcher would be perfect for this use case.
I set up an Auto Download watcher to download the files from Transfer to a Dropbox folder every few hours with the "Delete source items after sync" option selected.
I set up an Auto Upload watcher to upload the files from the Dropbox folder to Pro every few hours with the "Delete source items after sync" option selected.
The files are downloaded and uploaded appropriately, but copies of them remain in both Transfer and the Dropbox folder after both watchers are done running.
Then I read another conversation where you said that any option with "after sync" in the description only applied to Sync selections, not to Auto Download/Auto Upload options.
So I switched the Auto Upload watcher to an Auto Upload + Archive option and that seems to do what I want just right with the second half of the process.
I also tried to switch the Auto Download watcher to one that was Synchronize : Update Mac with the "Delete source items after sync" option selected but that doesn't remove the files from Transfer as expected either.
What am I missing?
Is there a better way to accomplish my goal?

Indeed, the 'delete after sync' options only apply to 'Sync' watchers, so the next thing to try should have been Sync : Update Mac from Transfer to a local folder and Sync : Update Server from there to your Pro server. Try that and see how you go. I'll be adding support for deletion after transfer as well at some point, but for now that's the way I'd suggest to tackle this requirement.
