Title: Customizing the tool bar question Post by: WebJIVE on October 31, 2006, 09:24:10 AM How do I get a consistent tool bar across all bookmarks/windows? That's driving me nuts. I don't want to have to customize the tool bar every time I create a new bookmark.

When enabled, this allows each Bookmark retains its own settings for the toolbar configuration, window position, size, etc. When disabled, a single toolbar configuration is used for all FTP Browser windows. The option seems to be working as expected for me.

I guess my question is, do I need to go into each one an drag things around or is there a plist I can edit to make the bars look the same on each bookmark?
Thanks Title: Re: Customizing the tool bar question Post by: JD on October 31, 2006, 04:00:04 PM Once the option is off, the toolbars should automatically sync when you change them - by dragging an item around, or whatever. That's certainly the behavior I'm seeing here.
The Bookmark-specific toolbar config is stored in the Bookmark file itself and is not editable by you. The global toolbar config is stored in Yummy's .plist file: com.yummysoftware.yummy-ftp.plist and this is located in your Preferences folder. I opened the one bookmark that I want the rest to look like, added something to the tool bar, clicked done. Then opened another bookmark window and no change.

I just looked and it was checked. Unchecked and the window changed..
