I love Yummy FTP watcher so far. The one thing that's annoying me is having it run in the dock rather than menu bar. Watcher is very much a background always-on 'utility' app to watch my folder and it makes much more sense to have this in the menu bar rather than a whole icon in the dock (similar 'sync' apps like google drive, dropbox, mozy, etc all run in the menu bar rather than dock, for example). Could you make it a menu bar item, or at least provide the option to put it in one or the other? Thanks!

Definitely looking at options here for a future update ;)
Thanks for the feedback!

Any chance this will be making it into the next update? Thanks.

Unlikely, but I have been investigating it, and it is still certainly on To Do list :)

+1 for this feature

I'd also like to put in a vote for this feature. It looks like I might want to run Watcher whenever the computer is on, so it would be nice if it doesn't have to take up space in the Dock.

Noted! It's no.1 on my To Do list for Watcher... ;)

Any progress on this no 1 item? I still don't see an option.
Also, how do I make the window not open every time I restart my computer? I want it to start minimized all the time. Thanks.

I'm sorry, no... hard to believe it's almost a year since this was requested! How time flies :o
Once I've got Yummy FTP 1.10.2 out the door I'll give it some love :)
There isn't a built-in way to start with a hidden status window, or minimised. Sorry again.
