Title: files are moved to sites start folder when dragged in list view
Post by: markusr on November 02, 2006, 02:39:13 PM
i just have downloaded yummyftp to test and play around a bit...

i work with list-view on both sides (local/remote), so i am able to do a fast switch between folders on both sides...

when i now drag a file from local to remote side, the file is copied/placed in the remote start folder unless you exactly move the mouse pointer over an exisiting file on the remote side. only in this case the matching directory is highlighted and the file is placed in this dir. if you release the mouse key just beside a filename the file is placed in the start folder.  but: if you move the mouse into the next column (date/size) then the correct directory is highligted and the file is place is placed there.... (edit) i have to correct me, i tested it with "date-column". even there you have to place the mouse over any written text, only in this case yummy finds the matching directory

Yummy doesn't find the matching directory for you. It is entirely up to you when you release the mouse, where the files will be sent - into the hilited sub-directrory or into the start directory It works in the same way as copying from one Finder window to another.
