Title: just got yummy, how do you? Post by: zvenx on November 22, 2005, 09:07:02 PM hi, just bought yummy.
running it in tiger. two things: how do you copy as url and INCLUDE password..... I have seen clients that give you this option and I would like this option to make it easier for my clients to download... just mail them the link and they click and download. I have set yummy as my default ftp application...... my server requires the username as x@domain.com, it copies it as that, but when you click the copied link it defaults to the user name x and not x@domain.com. thanks rsp Title: Re: just got yummy, how do you? Post by: JD on November 23, 2005, 03:00:21 AM Hi,
I also replied to your email with the same message, but for others to see.. the password is currently omitted on purpose for security reasons, but I have no difficulty in adding a preference setting to include it for the next version. As far as the user name issue is concerned, I'll look into it and include a fix in the next update. Thanks for the feedback! Title: Re: just got yummy, how do you? any rough estimate of when the next update will be released? thanks rsp Title: Re: just got yummy, how do you? Post by: zvenx on November 23, 2005, 06:32:07 AM also out of curiousity how does one revert the default ftp helper, so that safari can handle ftp's as well?
thanks rsp Title: Re: just got yummy, how do you? Post by: JD on November 23, 2005, 07:14:34 AM The next update won't be out for some time yet - I'm working on a lot of new things ;)
But I can add the changes you need to the next beta build and let you know when it's available, which should be in a few days. For reverting the FTP helper, you'll have to download something like More Internet from VersionTracker. This is a System Preferences pane which will allow you to configure all of the helper apps. Note that only one helper app can be active at a time, so either it's Yummy FTP or it's Safari - you can't have both. Title: Re: just got yummy, how do you? Post by: zvenx on November 23, 2005, 02:05:22 PM yes I would very much like the next beta version.
thanks rsp Title: Re: just got yummy, how do you? Post by: JD on November 28, 2005, 06:05:19 AM The changes have been made and a beta is being prepared. I'll be in touch shortly :)
