Yummy Software

This may have been asked before, but I couldn't find it, but are there future plans for a tabbed interface on the main browser window? I typically have to have multiple windows open and it would be great to be able to cycle through tabs versus windows.

Pretty sure it's on the list. My guess is that it might be in a 1.6 release, although JD could follow Redmond and version it as 7.0 (i.e.  whatever number is at least 2 digits higher than the competition).

any update on this? I'm starting to use Drupal which requires frequent changing of directories that are far apart and while the favorites feature is great, i'm starting to have too many favorites for it to be useful. so instead i wind up opening 2 or 3 windows for the same site.  gets old fast!  A tabbed main window would be very helpful. Even more helpful would be if the Bookmarks window could be docked / minimized to the edge of screen.

would love to know if/when you still have these feature requests on your radar.

Both a tabbed interface and a more useful bookmarks window are definitely something I want for Yummy FTP, that's for sure. And there are a lot of other great features I want to add too...

As for a time scale, I'm afraid I have to be a bit vague because I'm not exactly sure myself. I keep having to venture off to look after other things, like Leopard compatibility for example, and tracking down hard to reproduce, edge case bugs that people have reported. I can't ignore those things, and unfortunately they are very time consuming tasks. So all I can say is - I will get there! :)

Still on the To Do list. I've not moved forward on that front yet, I'm afraid.

Yep - I'm targeting v2.0 for this, which will be an interface overhaul amongst other things ;)
