Title: Sharing Site Defs & Bookmarks?
Post by: Heavy Doody on June 24, 2008, 12:42:01 AM
I'd like to use Yummy FTP on my notebook when I travel.  Is there a way to copy all the site definitions and bookmarks from my desktop to my notebook?

Thanks.

There is currently no built-in mechanism, however you can simply copy the Bookmarks folder from your existing Yummy FTP installation and install it into your laptop in the same location:

Mac HD -> Users -> yourname -> Library -> Preferences -> Yummy FTP -> Bookmarks

Note that passwords are stored in the Apple Keychain, so they won't go across unless you copy the keychain file too, and this is located:

Mac HD -> Users -> yourname -> Library -> Keychains -> login.keychain

or alternatively you can note down the passwords and re-enter them on the laptop, where they'll be added to that keychain automatically.

So if I sync my keychains via .Mac, I should be good to go, right?
