Title: transfer rate differs Post by: klkl on May 02, 2006, 08:48:24 AM about 2 weeks ago, i experienced a big surprise when i see the transfer rate of all 4 sites reaching almost 40kb/s each. however, the transfer rate dropped dramatically to only a poor 6-8kb/s, anyone knows why is this happening? i am using adsl.
Title: Re: transfer rate differs Post by: JD on May 02, 2006, 10:14:53 AM I don't know for sure, klkl. Maybe there was some anomaly with your ADSL line at the time. What speeds do you normally get from those servers and what is you ADSL line speed?

dear, i think i found the reason, the line connecting to the server is not functioning well.... when i emailed them, they replied so,hmmm :-[.... could it possibly?? The message means that your server will only allow 3 simultaneous connections at once. By default, Yummy FTP uses up to 5. You can reduce this to 3 in the Max. Connections Per Server setting in the Transfers tab of the Preferences.
