Title: Sync Bookmarks with .Mac
Post by: tdominey on May 08, 2006, 01:43:52 PM
How about bookmark syncing with .Mac? Transmit does it, and it keeps all three of my Mac's in sync with my FTP connections.

Hi,

I think that should not be limited to .Mac. What about the possibility to store/sync the preferences on a ftp-server?

Well, .Mac offers special services for such things which makes the whole experience much slicker. Making a similar, but general purpose feature, could be useful too, although it would likely not be as seamless.

Hi,

hmmm... dotmac is to expensive to me and I already have enough webspace. Well, I've a webdav-server. Can .Mac be used to use a different webdav-server?

No, .Mac only works with Apple's servers.
