Title: Synchronize: excluded files issue
Post by: barranco on October 07, 2009, 01:57:38 AM
It's been 18 months since I switched to mac from linux as my main workstation, I think Yummy FTP is by far the best mac ftp client I've ever used.

Now, to the point... I noticed that files/folder marked as excluded from syncronization will cause the remote file/folder of the same name to be marked for deletion if the option "delete orphans" is checked.

thanks
alex

Firstly, thanks for your kind compliments! :)

What you have described is expected behavior. If you also exclude the server item then the problem will disappear. I do have an item on my To Do list to have an option to automatically exclude the opposite side same item, but I didn't get to that ... yet.

Thanks for the reply.

Wow, didn't realize you could exclude independently, that makes it so much flexible.
