BTW, I went back to Transmit (groan) because I could not work how to force an ASCII upload in Yummy. I think I might be too thick to be allowed to comment further.....

I am looking at the software right now; looks like a good job!
One question; when I look at remote files and take Show Info I can see permissions as numbers [644|777|etc] but when I look at local files I only get the (pretty useless) Finder window. Could we not have the same window as for remote files - this would help us novices get permissions correct?
Secondly, when the remote Show Info pane opens it obscures the files lists. Could you not put this in a floating window?
