1  Yummy FTP / Feedback & Suggestions / Re: Apple-C Apple-V to duplicate a remote file on: October 25, 2006, 11:55:11 PM
Doh! I forgot about that one, thanks. I really dont think apple-c and apple-v to move to other directories is necessary...
2  Yummy FTP / Feedback & Suggestions / Apple-C Apple-V to duplicate a remote file on: October 24, 2006, 10:04:33 PM
I'd love to be able to highlight a file, hit apple-c, hit apple-v, and get a copy of the file. It would make yummyftp all the more finder-like.
3  Yummy FTP / Feedback & Suggestions / Dialogue box that opens when yummyftp is launched is bad on: July 13, 2006, 09:55:19 AM
I know you can disable the "New Connection" dialogue that automatically opens when yummy is launched, but I find it confusing. First of all, there's no way to access my bookmarks through it. Second of all, it's unclear that the bookmarks are available via the toolbar menu-in many apps, the toolbar menu is disabled when a dialogue box appears, so as a typical user I thought for a long time that I had to close the "New Connection" dialogue to access my bookmarks.

Better yet, make bookmarks accessible through the New Connection dialogue. Right now I just see recent connectons in the globe icon, and some weird biohazard icon that does nothing.

Just a few thoughts on how to make a great app even better!

Filezilla is the best windows ftp client I've used. That said, Windows ftp clients are all pretty bad. There are so many panels and c:\\ tree things and weird file labels everywhere.

Gotcha, so the new site I added began with an A and that's why it went to the top. It'd be nice to have the option as you add them they just get appended to the end though. I really liked that the apple- automatically worked, without me having to assign everything (I hate assigning key commands because I'm lazy)
6  Yummy FTP / Feedback & Suggestions / Bookmarks suggestion on: May 17, 2006, 08:59:51 PM
Hi, I'm getting used to hitting apple-2 to quick connect to my personal site, but then I add a new bookmark and apple-2 now takes me to what used to be apple-1. So...can bookmarks be appended to the end of the list, rather than the beginning?
7  Yummy FTP / Feedback & Suggestions / This software is great. Thanks on: May 09, 2006, 11:17:08 PM
I love the small text and scrollbars, you can see so much more than in transmit or cyberduck. Nice job.
