file size format & bradcrumbs suggestion
« on: November 29, 2010, 02:17:52 PM »

Hello again:)

What do you think about option to show file size in different format, I mean to let user change the way it displays, for me as a designer it's rather hard to quickly count very large number to know if file is 1000MB or 100MB in bytes, next beta? please? Smiley

Another thoughts where...about breadcrumbs with copy file path option.
From time to time i need to use file/folder in Terminal (local/ssh)... and in my letter to Santa I wish I'd be able to visually see where am I, navigate or even copy path Smiley

Or... is that already possible some way?

Hi Wink

I'm not sure really what you're looking for... a ranking bar?

If it helps there is already an option in the Interface panel of the Preferences to display sizes in bytes instead of rounded units, Kb, Mb, Gb and so on. Also you can sort the listing by Size, ascending or descending.

For the path stuff...

What about Open In Terminal ? (from the Listing menu) Works for both local and remote directories

And for copying the path, are you aware of Copy URL and Copy Web URL? If these are not what you're looking for then there isn't a shortcut for a plain path (maybe I should add that!) , but if you select Go To Directory from the Listing menu the path is pre-filled with the current path, so you could Copy that Smiley
