Connects OK - stalls while updating folder listing

My co-workers use this to access our website, hosted by GoDaddy.  I just installed Yummy Lite and connected to the site.  I entered the usual "foobar.com" as the server name, FTP, port 21, and it seems to connect just fine. 
However, in the bottom panel, there's an endlessly moving progress meter, with the caption "Updating file/folder listing....".  The caption does occasionally change to "Connecting blah blah..."

So, what's the likely issue here?  I'd expect to get a folder tree and file list in the right-side panel, but it's empty.

Repeat the issue then select Save FTP Transcript from the File menu and send the resulting file to me :

support @ yummysoftware.com

Just to follow up, this turned out to be a temporary glitch with the internet provider
