I use my MacBook Pro in different locations and sometimes aI need to use proxy, sometimes - not. Mac OS has great feature - locations, that can change many network parameters including Proxy. It works in many programs, but not in Yummy FTP. It will be great to switch proxy in Yummy FTP based on Locations.

The problem is that FTP Proxy in OS X is very vague. There are many proxy variations (just look at Yummy's FTP Proxy preferences setting as an example - even that is not an exhaustive list) and these are not available from OS X. In fact, it isn't even clear which variety is supported.
In a similarly over-simplistic way, there is a single 'Use Passive FTP Mode (PASV)' checkbox. While that might be suitable if you ever only connect to one server, most people using an FTP client will connect to more than one server, and seeing as Passive FTP is mostly a server-specific setting, that checkbox makes no sense.
So the short answer is that although it would be a great feature, I don't think it's doable because of the OS limitations.

Of course FTP proxy options in OS X are very simple. But it is possible to add 1) support of different FTP proxies in connection to location in Yummy FTP options, so user can set proxy settings for every Location or just 2) support of changing FTP proxy by AppleScript, so it will be ability to use Location actions (using script or some additional programs like MarcoPolo) to change proxy settings

Ok, to add AppleScript support for setting the 'FTP Proxy' settings in Yummy FTP is really not difficult at all. I can fit it into an update

The latest build has the ability to configure proxy settings via AppleScript, as promised

Sorry, I omitted the dictionary entries for this by mistake in the 1.7.1b4 beta, although the support IS there. I will send you another download link asap with the corrected dictionary.
