Transferring folders on the same server, listing problem
« on: July 08, 2010, 05:49:38 AM »

Hi,

When transferring folders from a server to itself (using two windows connected to the same server) I find that after dragging the folders some of them are left showing in the source listing. A refresh is needed to correct the display.  For example dragging across, say, 10 folders from one window to the other, I am left with 2 still highlighted in the source window. It's not definitely repeatable, so possibly a timing thing.

Any ideas? Thanks.

What was the display listing like at the time? For example, did you have sub folders opened to display their contents hierarchically in the list? Were you using List view or Column view?

No, there were no sub-folder contents showing.  And the folder itself just contained sub-folders -- no files.
List view. (Although I get confiused between which is which since both have lists and both have columns!)
I can try to replicate and send you screen shots if that would help.

List view is where each sub folder gets the clickable twist-down triangle icon.

I'll see if I can reproduce this. If you repeat it, screenshots might help. Thanks!
