Why is sort order synchronized between local and remote?
« on: March 08, 2011, 03:17:57 AM »

When using the detailed view on local and remote, clicking on a column header in any view also updates the other view, which is quite annoying: it is often the case that I want the list sorted by mtime on the local side and by filename on the remote side. Currently the sort order keeps synchronized between windows, always. Is there a way to disable this behaviour? Thanks!

You have enabled DualBrowse, a feature for browsing local and remote directories in tandem. It is not on by default.

To turn it off, either click the DualBrowse icon in the toolbar until the checkbox is unchecked, or de-select the DualBrowse option in the Listing menu.

Thanks a million. I promised I looked for that setting for some time, button was not in the toolbar, and I missed the menu item. Sorry for the noise (and thanks for the quick answer Smiley
