Transfer & scheduled transfer issues
« on: April 01, 2012, 06:48:39 AM »
2 problems I've had recently.

First one is that file transfers do not carry over (and restart) when the app is restarted. I read in an old forum post that this is coming in a later version. Is this still coming? The server sync feature will not do what I'm after. And this is a real PITA when Yummy crashes during a transfer. Fortunately it doesn't do that often.

Second is that there are 2 users on my iMac. When I'm logged on and have a scheduled transfer, it only seems to work when I'm still logged on.  If the other user logs on (and leaves me logged on) the scheduled transfer does not occur.  Note that other scheduled jobs e.g. backups still do function. It seems limited to Yummy FTP. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I'm sorry about the queue not being saved. This slipped off my radar and was in fact brought to my attention on Twitter just yesterday. I'm about to release v1.8.9, so I've missed the deadline for that but I'll do my best to get it into v1.9

The multi-user scheduled transfers issue is not one I've heard of before. I will investigate and get back to you ASAP.

Wouldn't you know, but YummyFTP crashed on me just a few minutes ago (first time in a while), in the middle of transferring a bunch of files.  It's a real PITA to re-queue so will be very happy when that's fixed.  Will try a few more tests with the multi user issue and get back to you. Thanks!

Yummy crashing is extremely unusual. Please email me the crash report.
