Thought I would post this here for others who may need this info in future.
I just located the SSH/Shell settings for my web host account and activated it. I generated the private and public keys, and authorized them. I downloaded the private key file and placed it in a folder on my computer.
I then went into EDIT my watcher on the app, and changed the FTP setting from PASV to SFTP. The port changed to 22 by itself I see. I then made sure the host name, account name, and PW were correct which they were. I then clicked the SSH KEY box and navigated to where my private key file had been downloaded on my computer.
SAVED.
FTP Watcher begins to PREPARE my files for upload, but quickly thereafter, I see "Error". And it stops processing. This repeats and repeats and nothing ever gets uploaded. Looks to be some kind of connection issue, but without a log, I can't tell what specifically is going south.
Changing everything back to the default passive mode (PASV) and saving, uploads resume normally without any problems.
Any ideas Jason?
