Filter by "ignore" files.. ala .gitignore or such..
« on: April 04, 2014, 11:26:44 AM »
I'm using YF's filter (great feature!) a lot..
actually on pretty any project/connection since they're all the same framework.

However this means (and i hope it's not again a feature i just missed ;) i have to set
them up for each connection/bookmark.. so it crossed my mind:

How about (also) having file-based filter settings? An (to me) obvious approach would be
a system like git uses it with it's .gitignore files.. just use the same syntax/semantics,
call 'em .yummieignore or such, and voila..? ;)

regards..

Well, there is of course the Global Filters, which affect all Bookmarks / new connections. Available in the Bookmarks window :)

Haha.. the YF effect.. assume it's somewhere in there, you just overlooked it yet. ;)

(though a supplemental irgnore file thingy would be nice nevertheless..
mean and lean.. anyway, case closed ;)

thx & regards..
