Any chance of getting segmented downloading implemented in Yummy FTP? By that I mean an automatic method for Yummy to pull down multiple segments of the same file at the same time, to sidestep download stream limiting? My ISP limits every download stream to about 100KB/sec, even thought my total bandwidth is capable of over 10X that :(" title="Angry" class="smiley"/>
So, if I download a large file via FTP it takes me 10X+ longer to download than it really should. I recently tried out iGetter, just for this auto-segment feature. It somehow looks at a single large file on my FTP server and can split it into 8 streams that all transfer at once, giving me ~8X the download speed I get via Yummy FTP (on big files).
I know this is totally a limitation of my ISP, not Yummy FTP -- I'm just wondering if this feature could be added for stream-limited users like me!?
