"Exclude From" causing Yummy FTP to become unresponsive
« on: October 29, 2015, 06:59:37 PM »
Version:  1.11
OS:  El Capitan 10.11

I have to force quit.  I am going to delete the bookmark and recreate and see what happens.

Update:  Deleted the bookmark and recreated and it still goes unresponsive when I try to add an excluded folder from sync.

This behaviour is common with poorly written contextual menu extensions, which intercept Yummy's code (and not in a good way).

What contextual menu extensions do you have installed?

I having installed them knowingly.  do you know an easy way to remove all contextual menu extensions.  For testing purposes.   I googled but it just shows how to create them, not remove them all.

Thanks!

Look in :

Mac HD -> Library -> Contextual Menu Items

and

Mac HD -> Users -> your name -> Library -> Contextual Menu Items

.. the latter Library folder is hidden in Finder, so use the Go menu, hold the alt/option key and then select Library from the menu.

You'll need to reboot after removing anything.
