Starting or scheduling after "download later"
« on: December 12, 2015, 10:26:51 PM »
I can easily add a folder to the queue by choose download later from the context menu...
but then how to start it or schedule it?
choosing start from the transfers menu does not work... and clicking the clock icon also does not work...
any help?
or is this a bug?

thanks!

Select the item in the Queue, then the Clock icon (for scheduling) or Go icon.

There is a global on/off for waiting/scheduled tasks - maybe you selected to pause schedules from the Transfer menu by mistake?

Thanks for your reply JD...
I really think something is wrong here.
I am on an SFTP connection.
I choose a folder with 3 files in it on the remote side.
I choose download later from the context menu -> it shows up in the main transfer list saying "waiting to start"
When I select it and go to the transfers menu it says cancel, pause or disconnect (no option to start).
When I click on the clock icon (at the bottom, under the transfers list) it is empty.
Where is the go icon?

thanks!

When you click the item in the Queue the toolbar changes to reflect that. There is this showing by default:

Left is stop, middle is go, right is schedule

Ah ha! That requires that I have the "toolbar" visible from the view menu ! :-)

So, so.

Now that I see the light, I also wonder if it is possible to schedule the queue to continue when the previous transfer is finished?

Perhaps an option in schedule to start when previous entry is complete...

thanks!

There isn't such an option, but I will think about how to add it for the future.

Anyway, glad to hear you've finally seen the light! ;)
