I use Yummy to upload files to my remote server. I also use my .Mac storage area as a site for off-site backups of my critical files. Unfortunately at this point Yummy does not support the WebDAV protocol, so I am forced to use a different FTP client (Transmit) for that purpose. I. m. h. o., Yummy is streets ahead of Transmit in just about every other department, and its inability to support WebDAV is its one major deficiency. I hope that Jason can turn his attention to this in the near future, as I would like to be able to use Yummy as my single all-purpose client (and I doubt I'm the only Yummy user who wants to see this improvement)
I'm well aware of the deficiency - it's probably the number one feature request at the moment. The good news is, I'm already working on it. The bad news is, it's not simple to add.
On a side note, would adding webdav be enough to easily add support for Amazon S3 (my web backup solution)? Interarchy recently added native support for S3, as you probably know. I strongly dislike everything else about that program, however.
I might help, yes, but I honestly can't say that I've looked into Amazon S3 enough to give you a good answer at this time. Certainly, it won't make it "easy" ... nothing is easy!
