cannot manually set local download folder
« on: September 23, 2016, 04:37:32 PM »
I thought that FTP watcher was a standalone app. Thing is, I cannot tab or otherwise enter anything into the Local Folder field of version 2.2.9. the only way I can set it is to use Yummy FTP Pro, and do a "save as watcher."

What am I missing here?

Click the button 'Check Connection + Set Local/Remote Folders' which opens a browser to the server, with Mac local on the left server on the right, where you can then navigate to the required local and remote paths and click Choose. The idea was to ensure that during setup the local and remote folders actually existed, as it's very easy to make a typo and accidentally overwrite or delete something you didn't mean to!

Aha!  Thanks. I completely missed it: being so familiar with the FTP Pro layout, I was looking for a button beside the field.

Yep,Watcher could do with a UI re-think for the next upgrade ;)
