I process images and export them as JPEG files to a folder called "Transmit" at which point I want Yummy FTP to ftp to a remote site and then either delete the JPEG or move it to another folder for archive purposes.
I have noticed that if I delete the image from the "Transmit" folder, and later make adjustments to the same image and export it to "Transmit" folder with the same filename as the previously uploaded file, Yummy FTP in "Auto Upload" mode ignores the file and does not resend it even that JPEG was previously deleted at the local and remote folders. The only way I can make YFTP upload it is to change the filename to one that has not been previously FTP'd by YFTP.
However, if I set Watcher Preference option "Type" to "Auto Upload + archive" YFTP will upload the file IF the same filename is not on the remote folder. The issue here is the archive folder will contain a 2nd or third version of the previously upload file (with suffix 2.jpg 3. jpg etc) even if it did not upload the subsequent versions. It would be good if YFTP would rename the file with the suffix (1,2,3) if it sees the same filename on the remote folder and then upload.
How do I setup YFTP to send muiltiple copies of file with the same name.
Also, is there anyway to turn off specific watchers or to create sets of watchers you can turn on and off. This would be invaluable.
