Is there a way to "Auto Download + Archive"??
« on: June 02, 2017, 12:02:09 AM »
I am using the trial version to see if this software will work with our workflow.

We receive anywhere from 500 to 1000 of customer files daily on our off-site ftp server.
They are automatically stored in a folder using a standardized naming convention with 1-6 files in each folder. The files are created within the folder as the customer uploads their files.

The problem with "Auto Download" + "Exclude source item After Transfer" is that we are seeing empty folders being transferred then ignored. It seems YFTP Watcher is finding the folder and transferring it over BEFORE our customers finish uploading their files. Once the files are in, YFTP Watcher is already excluding the source item.

Ideally, I would like these folders WITH all subsequent files to be transferred over to our local server and then have the source files moved in to a "backup" or "archive" folder.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remedy this??

There currently isn't a Download + Archive option, but that's certainly on my To Do list for some time.

Let me see what I can do about the remote folder problem you've encountered. I'll get back to you via email with a new build, if that's ok?
