no zoom / maximize window function?

hey there. don't know if it's a bug or if it's intentional UI design, but I just noticed that nothing happens when I click on the green "zoom window" button of an open connection's window. It seems as though Yummy saves the window location and size when closing the connection. So I must have sized this one particular connection's window very small. Rather than click and drag the lower right hand corner of the window I thought "let me just maximize the window my clicking on the green zoom button". Nothing happened. Tried several times.

I then looked under the Window menu, and sure enough only "Minimize Window" and "Bring All to Front" were listed.

Is there a particular reason the "Zoom Window" function is not included?

I didn't intentionally remove a Zoom function from the Window menu - that menu is provided automatically by the OS. I can insert items into it though, so I could probably add it in myself.

Zooming seems to work fine for me, so is it only with this one particular Bookmark, perhaps?

thanks for the quick response.

I figured it was a default Apple UI window behavior, so assumed that maybe you specifically overrode/removed it.

It seems all my bookmarks (including the bookmarks window) do not have the ability to zoom. This are bookmarks including FTP and SFTP. Note that the green zoom button is visible and active (as opposed to the greyed-out version of the new connection window), but when clicked nothing happens.

I played around with various interface preferences, no no avail. FWIW I have mine currently set (checked) to:

- Alternating row colors
- Column dividers
- Unified windows
- Marquee list selection
- Small scrollbars

I'll try repairing permissions to see if that does the trick...

Hi

Try opening both the preview & queue drawers, resize them, then close the browser window. Open the Bookmarked connection again. Close the drawers. Does zooing work now?

What about an FTP browser window from the New Connection window? Does zooming work from that?

you nailed it! NICE! that did the trick.

luckily I'm not using "independent window settings" for any of my bookmarks so that seems to have worked for all my bookmarks (of which there are many!).
