Recently I bought 2 licenses of Yummy FTP for our sound studios to be able to back up our projects. However I've run into major problems when trying to retrieve the backupped files again from the FTP: the configurable timeout can be set to 120 seconds maximum which is not enough for our server.
The server is actually a huge tape-juggling backup-robot in the basement, which has to find the right tape, insert it, wind the tape to the right place, copy the file from the tape to a buffer harddisk and then only the transfer can start. Usually this takes about 4 minutes before the first packets of data are received.
So, is there anyway to increase Yummy's timeout over the 2 minute limit? Maybe by tweaking the preferences files somewhere on the disk? Any help would be very welcome.
