Shouldn't my Yummy passwords be in the key chain?
« on: September 17, 2007, 02:42:32 PM »

I've always had problems keeping track of my numerous ftp passwords and I've switched computers multiple times since I've been using Yummy. I've always exported my bookmarks and copied my library items and the passwords always transfered over.

Not sure if that's the reason my yummy passwords aren't in my key chain?

Every new release I keep hoping there's going to be some sort of show password option. Would make life so much easier.  Shouldn't the system master password be enough security?

Still the best ftp for mac!! Smiley

Perhaps you have the option to store the passwords in the keychain turned off? Take a look at the 'Store passwords in Keychain' checkbox in the Server Options panel of the Preferences. If that is turned off then your passwords are stored in the Bookmark files themselves.

With the Keychain Access app, you can reveal your passwords right now, of course. But there is also an item on my To Do list to make it just that little bit easier. Smiley

Ahhhh. It was unchecked.

I'll test it out tomorrow.

Thanks!
