Schedules not uploading to correct directory
« on: March 21, 2006, 08:27:46 PM »

Setting a schedule is a little weird to me. It seems that once you have your local folder and remote folder showing on each side of the Yummy interface, you can set a schedule.

The problem is, I can't find a way to edit the schedule, other than the intervals at which it updates. You can't see which local and remote folders are being synched or updated. I have files being uploaded to the root directory of my web server, not the folder I specified on the web server.

The only way I can fix it, is by deleting the schedule and doing it again, but over time files seem to write to the wrong place.

What am I doing wrong?

Currently, once you set up scheduled sync, the parameters for the sync itself cannot be modified, although the schedule periods can. This is something I'll be addressing in the next update of Yummy FTP.

For the problem with files going to the root directory, I did fix a bug like this already in a later build. It would only happen if your server dropped the connection during a synchronize, however, and even then it was intermittent.

Since you emailed me at the support address, I have already provided you with the latest beta version of Yummy FTP which resolves the upload error. If anyone else has this problem, please do get in contact: support at yummysoftware dot com
