Hi...I have three folders on my server - web, logs and test.
The latter folder is the folder to delete, but when I try I get the message;
DIRECTORY NOT EMPTY
However, when I look in this folder I see nothing.
It doesn't matter what I call this folder - test, images, etc, I just can't delete it via my ftp, and I think it is stopping my web page from displaying.
Can anyone please advise? Thank you.

Try Listing->Toggle Hidden Files to see if there are any hidden files in the directory. Some of these may not be deletable because of permission problems.

Enable 'Issue LIST -la command' checkbox in the Interface panel of the Preferences - this forces the server to list the hidden items which aren't being deleted, thus the folder is not empty and cannot be deleted.

Thanks - I am now able to see the hidden folders having changed my preferences.
However - it won't let me delete this folder as it is saying PERMISSION DENIED.
Do you know why it would say this or how I can overcome it?
Thanks.

There is no way to overcome this from Yummy FTP. Your FTP account credentials simply don't allow you to delete either something inside that folder, or the folder itself. You need to speak with the FTP server administrator and ask them to either remove the folder for you, or to fix the permissions.
